INVITATION FROM THE PRESIDENT, WAS

Dear colleagues:

I take great pleasure in inviting you to the 11th Conference of the Asia-Oceania Federation of Sexology, to be held in Bali, Indonesia, 4 - 7 August 2010.

The unique strength of WAS and its Federation partners is the multi-disciplinary and multi-national nature of our organisation. Through sharing our knowledge and skills from various professional perspectives we can present the holistic nature of sexology and, specifically, sexual health.

The Conference Committee is preparing an exciting programme, the breadth and depth of which should both challenge and inform all participants. The promotion of sexual health is advanced through such meetings, particularly when opportunities are taken to learn from other disciplines. Being informed from diverse cultural perspectives is also an enriching and enlightening experience and this Conference offers both.

The beautiful island of Bali has a reputation for its warm and friendly hospitality and delegates will find as much pleasure in the social activities as they do in the scientific programme. Please come and enjoy every aspect of the 11th AOFS Conference.

I look forward to seeing you there.

Best regards

Dr Rosemary Coates

President
World Association for Sexual Health (WAS, formerly World Association for Sexology)
